
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the Himalayan Dream Team will greet you and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner where you can try local delicacies such as momo and dal bhat, along with a typical Nepali drink, sharing a warm welcome with some of our team members.
After breakfast, we will take you on a cultural tour of Kathmandu's famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit Durbar Square, a historic area showcasing ancient royal palaces, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and the grand Boudhanath Stupa. After the tour, we will return to the hotel for a briefing and final preparations for your trek.
In the morning, after breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city nestled beneath the Annapurna Range. The 6 to 7-hour journey takes you through lush green hills, terraced fields, and picturesque villages. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can relax by Phewa Lake or explore the lively streets of Lakeside with its many shops, cafes, and restaurants. Optionally, you can take a short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara (25 minutes) for an additional cost, giving you more time to enjoy Pokhara.
Today, after breakfast, we drive to Galeshwor, the starting point of your trek. On the way, we stop at the Galeshwor Shiva Temple, an important Hindu pilgrimage site. After crossing a suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki River, we begin trekking to Bans Kharka. The trail passes through terraced fields and forests before reaching this small, peaceful village where you’ll spend the night.
After breakfast, we continue the trek through dense forests and terraced farmlands, stopping for lunch at Danda Kateri with beautiful views of the Kali Gandaki Valley. The trek takes around 5 to 6 hours, and by the afternoon, we reach Nangi Village. Here, you will stay in a community lodge and have the chance to learn about local projects, such as paper-making and herbal farming, that support sustainable community development.
Today, we ascend to the highest point of the trek, Mohare Danda, at 3,300 meters. The trek takes around 6 to 7 hours and offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges along the way. Walking through rhododendron and oak forests, the trail leads to the summit of Mohare Danda, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and the magical sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas.
After witnessing a spectacular sunrise, we begin our descent along the ridge, enjoying more incredible mountain views. We pass through serene forests and charming rural landscapes before arriving in Tilkot Village. This small village gives you a chance to observe traditional Nepalese life up close. The day’s trek takes around 5 to 6 hours, and you will stay in a local community lodge.
After breakfast, we descend through the forest toward Tiplyang village (1550m), taking in views of the Kali Gandaki River along the way. The trek takes around 3 hours. From Tiplyang, we drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax and enjoy your evening by the lakeside or explore the city’s vibrant atmosphere.
After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu, a journey of around 7 to 8 hours. On the way, you’ll have plenty of time to take in the scenic beauty of Nepal’s hills and rivers. Once in Kathmandu, you’ll have the evening free to explore the local markets, shop for souvenirs, or simply unwind. In the evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate the completion of the trek.
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye. We will arrange your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home. You leave Nepal with unforgettable memories of the trek and the warm hospitality of the local communities you encountered along the way.
